Our History
Founded in 2018, Casa Dei Bambini is a federally recognized Non-Profit Organization whose mission is to give all children in the Diocese of Wichita, KS access to the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. We have started like the "hidden yeast," with our first Children's House located in the center of the Wichita metro area. With a close location to both major interstates, our location is optimal to serve any child who needs an atrium. In providing access to all children, we hope our location also provides access to lower income families.
During the 2018-19 school year began with 30 children spanning levels 1, 2, and 3. In 2019-20, following renovations to the Children's House we expanded our capacity, we offer numerous classes for all students ages 3-12, both during the day and in the evening.

Casa Dei Bambini strives to provide a central location for any child in the diocese of Wichita to experience Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.

Casa Dei Bambini works to become a model of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd religious experience in alignment with the writings of Sofia Cavalletti and Maria Montessori and in harmony with the guidelines of the National Association.

Casa Dei Bambini welcomes children who do not have access to an atrium and works to provide an opportunity for any child, regardless of race, background, or economic status.

Casa Dei Bambini will provide formation in accord with the work of Sofia Cavalletti and Gianna Gobbi, through the development of catechists.

Casa Dei Bambini will work to maintain exceptionally beautiful and well-kept materials.
Mission
The mission of Casa Dei Bambini is to provide a prepared environment to serve the religious potential of the child and to support catechists, parents and others in the church as they grow in their understanding of that potential.
Purpose
Casa Dei Bambini works to introduce children, ages 3-12 years old, to the love of the Good Shepherd through a common religious experience via the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
